GPY+ Associates has designed numerous high rise residential buildings including:

The Hub/ Columbia Village:  Waterloo, ON.  The Hub is a major new residential development in Waterloo, construction completed in 2017.  The development consists of 5 high rise apartment buildings built over a single storey underground parking level that encompasses the entire site.  The 5 buildings have a total of 600 suites, with 25 commercial units located at the ground floor.  The entire ground level promenade which all buildings are built on is provided with a hydronic snow melting system. The HVAC system for this development is geothermal heat pumps, connected to a large open loop geothermal reservoir.  The geothermal system provides all of the facilities heating and cooling requirements. 

GPY+ Associates Engineering Inc. provided all mechanical design and contract administration services for the Hub development.

258 Sunview Street:  Waterloo, ON.  258 Sunview Street is a new 3 tower residential development in Waterloo, construction completed in 2018.  The development consists of two 13 storey high rise apartment buildings, and one 6 storey apartment building.   The 3 buildings have a total of 298 suites.  GPY + Associates provided the mechanical design in Revit for this project.

Chapel View Apartments, Brampton.  GPY+ Associates Engineering Inc. is the engineer of record for the Chapel View Apartments building in Brampton Ontario.  Chapel View was the first residential building in Canada to be certified as LEED Platinum.  The building is 15 stories in height, 200 apartments, with 6 levels of underground parking, and was completed in 2010.

Royal York Grand Condominiums, Toronto.  GPY+ Associates Engineering Inc. was the mechanical engineer for the Royal York Grand Condominiums The building is 15 stories in height, 200 apartments, with 3 levels of underground parking, and was completed in 2008.

247 Queen Street East, Brampton.  GPY+ Associates Engineering Inc. was the mechanical engineer for 247 Queen Street East, in Brampton.  The building is 15 stories in height, 205 apartments, with 2 levels of underground parking, and was completed in 2017.
